From 17 to 20 August 2017 children who affected by the plane crash in the village of Dacha-SU rested on the Issyk-Kul lake. The children's camp was organized thanks to the initiative of the Red Crescent of Kyrgyzstan and the OSCE Office in Bishkek.
The seminar was devoted to a review of the current situation in the region: the issues of hard-to-reach and major population groups for HIV, tuberculosis and hepatitis C infections. Participants of the seminar presented the results of current activities on these diseases.
The National Disaster Response Team (NDRT) of the Red Crescent of Kyrgyzstan worked out emergency response skills. The team consisted of staff from all regional offices of the Red Crescent, as well as volunteers.
